이주걸

이주걸(李柱傑) / 1914~2006 / 전문의 29(1963)

대한신경외과학회 창립회원 중 한 명이다. 일본 나고야 의과대학 외과학교실에서 Makoto Saito교수(일본신경외과의 개척자) 지도로 신경외과분야를 중점으로 연구하고 돌아와 경성여자의학전문학교 외과교실 내에 ‘이 외과’를 설립하고 우리나라에서 처음으로 두개골 성혈술과 기타 신경외과 수술들을 시행.
