주정화

주정화(朱正和) / 1930-2015 / 전문의 14(1963) / 수련: 서울대

고려의대 신경외과학교실의 제4대 주임교수
서울의대 졸업 후 서울대병원에서 신경외과를 수련하고, 1959-1961년 미국 Minnesota의대 신경외과에서 연수를 마침. 1972년 고려대학교 의과대학 신경외과학교실 제4대 주임교수로 부임한 후, 평생을 고려대 신경외과에서 재직하시면서 cerebral herniation 기전 및 저체온을 이용한 뇌조직 보호 등 research 분야를 개척하시고 많은 실험 논문을 발간하셨으며, 척추 수술에 대한 개념을 도입하는데 노력하셨음.
